With a 195 years waiting period for a Green Card, where are Indian knowledge workers going ?

(1) How many (in figures) do you estimate are in the US today ?
- total number of H-1B visa holders
- total number of L1 visa holders (blanket provision)
- total number of F1 visa holders
What percentage of these are of Indian Origin ?
(2) Feedback received is that though growing in numbers, the H-1B layoffs are a concern, the numbers could be less than what I had estimated (half million) but definitely more than what's been reported in the press (80,000).. to establish this speculation, take for example the almost 70% H-1Bs awarded to sub contracting firms every year since 1990, these sub con firms help their benched H-1B employees fudge their payroll to extend their 'garden leave' period until they find suitable employment (sub contract to end client)
An estimated 2 million plus Indian knowledge workers are on the H-1B visas in the US today, a meager 20% - 30% make it to the big companies (those that are in the recent news announcing mass lay-offs)
Therefore, the numbers affecting H-1B visa holders is much larger than what has been speculated in the recent news.
(3) F1 visa granted in 2020-2021, the number was 9.14 lakhs which rose to 9.48 lakhs in 2021-2022
Despite layoffs, H-1B work visa demand will stay high. The U.S. government's 85,000 H-1B work visa cap will be exceeded this year, despite the increasing number of tech industry layoffs. That's what history tells us.
(5) 195 years! That’s how long Indians might have to wait for a Green Card due to recent layoffs
(6) As was expected, I had filed multiple RTI applications to seek the actual estimates, but have reached a dead end (attached were RTI questions asked)
Question:-
Indian brains are leaving in large numbers every year, with a miniscule 2% returning back...with a 195 years Green Card backlog, where are these workers today !
P.S :
The H-1B program began in 1990.
The L1 visa program is 'managers on rotation ' and has no quota, rather has a blanket provision.
